Folly Beach Election 2023

The Charleston County Board of Elections is now responsible for conducting local elections on Folly Beach. The next election is scheduled for November 7, 2023.

The seats currently held by Councilmembers Barker, Grooms, and Houghton will be open.

  • Filing Dates- Monday, August 21st, 2023- 12:00 PM - Friday, September 1st, 2023 12:00 PM.
  • Election Date- Tuesday, November 7th, 2023
  • Runoff- Tuesday, November 21st, 2023
  • Filing Fee $25
