Pickup Schedule:
Monday and Thursday: Household garbage, placed for collection before 7:00am.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Yard debris and manmade items, e.g.: furniture, beach chairs, small appliances, etc.
Friday: metal, white goods, etc.
Weekly recycling pickup is provided by Charleston County Environmental Management every Monday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Recycling pickup for the rest of the year is every other week on Monday. For information about the County Recycling program, and to learn what you can and cannot recycle, PLEASE VISIT THE CHARLESTON COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SITE.

Contractor-generated debris is the responsibility of either the contractor or homeowner. Multi-family and commercial garbage collection is provided through privately owned dumpsters, and may be serviced by the City or by a 3rd party contractor at the option of the property manager or commercial establishment.
