Planning and Zoning
The Planning and Zoning Department administers the city's Zoning and Development Ordinance and facilitates implementation of long-term land use plans.

The zoning map serves to illustrate the zoning of every parcel within the City of Folly Beach. The zoning map is the official document on which decisions regarding the zoning classification of any property are based. The latest zoning map, updated in 2023, can be found here.
