1.Marriage License must be from the State of South Carolina.
2.You may obtain the license at any City in the State of South Carolina.
3.Folly Beach does not give Marriage Licenses. You may obtain a Marriage License here at the County Court House, 100 Broad Street, Charleston, SC, 4th Floor, Suite 469, Hours: 8:30 to 4:30 Mon thru Fri., Ph. 843-958-5182. You must wait 24 hours from date of application. Cost is $70.00 cash only. Under 26 must have photo ID.Must be 16 years or older.
4.Once applied for, South Carolina Marriage License is good indefinitely
5.A "Party Permit" must be obtained from the Public Safety Department for weddings of 25 persons or more. The permit is free.
6.There is no charge to get married on the beach. Please call or email me for rules, regulations or reservations.
